Defining Flexibility in Weed Control

Something went wrong. Please try again later...

The Enlist® weed control system is often referred to as the truly flexible system. But what does flexibility mean when it comes to weed management? Here are six ways the Enlist weed control system provides superior flexibility from start to finish.

1. Multiple herbicide tolerances

The Enlist trait enables you to use Enlist herbicides over the top of soybeans, cotton and corn for broad-spectrum weed control. You also can apply Enlist herbicides preemergence and in burndown — with no plant-back restrictions for Enlist crops.

You get tolerance to 2,4-D choline, glyphosate and glufosinate* with all Enlist crops, as well as FOP herbicide tolerance in Enlist corn.

2. Herbicide choices to fit your field

Choose between Enlist One® or Enlist Duo® depending on which herbicide better serves your fields.

  • Enlist Duo combines 2,4-D choline and glyphosate and is available as a convenient, proprietary blend.
  • Enlist One is a straight-goods 2,4-D choline providing additional tank-mix flexibility.

The Enlist weed control system allows you to employ Enlist herbicides as the cornerstone of a herbicide program approach to overcome your toughest weed challenges. You also can incorporate the industry-leading residual herbicide portfolio from Corteva Agriscience for season-long control.

3. More tank-mix options

There are more than 1,600 qualified products — including herbicides, fungicides, insecticides and adjuvants — that can be tank-mixed with Enlist One herbicide. You can find the right qualified tank-mix products for Enlist One and Enlist Duo herbicides to fit your weed pressure at EnlistTankMix.com.

Eric Scherder, U.S. crop protection commercial launch leader, Corteva Agriscience, shares more about flexibility in tank-mixing in this video.

4. No calendar cutoff dates

Spray on your schedule — through R1 on Enlist E3® soybeans, first white bloom on Enlist cotton and V8 or 30 inches tall on Enlist corn.

5. No wind directional restrictions near compatible crops

Enlist herbicides do not require a buffer when applied to adjacent compatible crops, which include:

  • Soybeans
  • Rice
  • Corn
  • Alfalfa
  • Sorghum
  • Wheat
  • Peanuts

6. Better coverage with qualified nozzles

When combined with qualified nozzles, 2,4-D choline with Colex-D® technology in Enlist herbicides cuts drift by as much as 90% compared with a tank mix of traditional 2,4-D and glyphosate.

A broad choice of qualified nozzles — from different manufacturers and in multiple sizes — is available for Enlist herbicides. Check the list to find the optimum setup for your goals of coverage and drift control.
