Farmers across Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Kentucky and the Missouri Bootheel are keeping fields weed-free with the Enlist® system. Learn why they went all in on Enlist® cotton and Enlist E3® soybeans.

Jeff Coke – Kentucky

Sprayer

Jeff farms with his son-in-law, Jason Crisp. They raise corn, soybeans and soft red winter wheat in a rotation that involves double cropping wheat and soybeans. He chose Enlist E3® soybeans because he needed Enlist® herbicides to control stubborn marestail. The ability to apply multiple sites of action is a key benefit.

Jeremy Jack – Mississippi

Jeremy Jack

Jeremy and his family grow cotton, corn, soybeans and rice in the Mississippi Delta. For Jeremy, one pigweed is one too many to miss in his fields because of the tremendous amount of seed it can produce. Weed control is a key reason he plants both Enlist® cotton and Enlist E3® soybeans – so he can use Enlist® herbicides in his program approach to weed control.

Daniel Loftin – Arkansas

Daniel Loftin

Cotton farmer Daniel and his dad farm about 2,000 cotton acres in northeast Arkansas and southeast Missouri. They try to keep tillage to a minimum and will rebuild the raised seedbeds about every five years. Challenged by a growing pigweed population, Loftin looked to the Enlist® weed control system to give his cotton crop relief from the nutrient-depleting weeds.

David Pearson – Missouri Bootheel

David Pearson

David tends to about 6,000 acres of cotton. He also grows soybeans and corn some years, but he says he always has cotton. Like many other farmers in his area, he works each year to control the most aggravating pest – pigweed. David relied on the Enlist® weed control system to help manage heavy pigweed pressure and he’s pleased with the results.

Gerald Malin Jr. – Missouri Bootheel

Sprayer

Gerald has been managing farm ground since he was about 12 years old. That’s when his dad rented the first piece of land to him. He now grows cotton, soybeans, corn, wheat and rice. He also raises a few beef cattle. With the overwhelming pigweed populations in his area, Malin turned to the Enlist® weed control system to help control the troublesome weed now and in the future.

Chris Porter – Missouri Bootheel

Chris Porter

Chris has planted crops on the family farm for 20 years. Keeping his 4,000 acres of cotton, corn, soybeans and rice in the Missouri Bootheel weed-free gives him a sense of pride. That’s one reason he likes what he sees with the Enlist® weed control system.

Jack Kent – Arkansas

Jack Kent

Jack raises cotton, soybeans and rice. He shares his gratitude for those who worked hard so he can farm, and he pledges to do the same for his sons, who want to continue the family farming legacy. After learning more about the Enlist® technology, Jack says, it was a natural fit for his farm. He grows both cotton and soybeans with the Enlist® trait. Impressed by the technology, especially the pigweed control, he is raising Enlist® cotton and Enlist E3® soybeans again.
