The newest addition to the Enlist™ weed control system will provide soybean and corn farmers with a high level of flexibility.

CALGARY, AB, February 23, 2021 – Corteva Agriscience is pleased to announce the launch of the new Enlist™ 1 herbicide. Health Canada’s Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) has approved Enlist 1 herbicide for use on Enlist E3™ soybeans and Enlist corn ahead of the 2021 growing season.

The latest addition to the Enlist weed control system, Enlist 1 herbicide provides soybean and corn farmers across Canada a flexible option for managing hard-to-control and resistant weeds. With the power of Colex-D™ technology to ensure it lands and remains on target, along with the flexibility to tank mix with a farmer’s preferred glyphosate or glufosinate, such as
Liberty® 200 SN. Enlist 1 herbicide provides farmers with an excellent option for their Enlist corn and Enlist E3 soybeans.

“Resistant weeds have been an increasing issue for Canadian soybean and corn farmers, which, when not controlled effectively, compete for valuable resources, rob yield potential and impact quality, ultimately reducing the productivity of the crop,” said David Kloppenburg, Category Leader for row crop herbicides, Corteva Agriscience Canada. “With the launch of Enlist 1, farmers will receive superior weed control and flexibility without compromising yield or quality when tending to their fields.”

A new and unique solution for farmers, Enlist 1 herbicide offers built-in drift control, lower odour, near-zero volatility, and excellent handling and mixing properties.

Corn and soybeans remain key crops for farmers across the country, meaning sustainable production and effective weed control systems remain a top priority. With Enlist 1 herbicide and the entire Enlist weed control system, farmers will be better equipped to maintain their cropping systems over time and help protect their bottom line.
